What is an All on 4 Denture?
A permanent fixed denture that you do not take in and out. With this protocol, you go home with a permanent set of teeth the same day of the procedure.
Can Dental Implants make my Denture feel and function better?
As demonstrated in the video, dental implants help anchor your denture so that it feels, fits, and functions better.
Why is my Denture Moving?
Conventional dentures get their stability from your surrounding tissues and bone. Unfortunately, over time our tissues and bone shrink creating a denture that has even less stability.
What Is the Procedure Like?
Before the procedure can take place, we will thoroughly examine your gums and dental structures to ensure that you do not have any pre-existing signs of gum disease that need to be addressed first. If you do, we will take the steps needed to heal your gums before we perform this procedure. Since these implants are typically smaller and shorter than traditional dental implants, many patients already have an existing bone structure that is fitting for All-on-4 implant supported dentures.
During the procedure, our surgeon will implant four titanium posts into your jawbone as anchors, attaching a denture at these four points. This allows you to have a permanent tooth replacement solution without the need for individual implants by each tooth.
Is the Procedure Painful?
In most cases, patients report minimal pain following the procedure. It can usually be alleviated with Tylenol or Ibuprofen. For those patients anxious about their treatment, our surgeons are credentialed with IV sedation and can give you a calm and pleasant experience.
